Last Friday (September 28th), students and staff “rocked the house” at YCMHS! Over 600 people dressed in pink to show their school spirit and commitment to supporting cancer research. Some were dressed from head to toe in pink; many had their faces painted, wore pink bracelets, sported Terry Fox tattoos on their faces and walked in the gym for hours to show their support. YCMHS raised over $1600 to help fight cancer. This degree of both school spirit and action towards improved health is amazing! A huge thank you and congratulations to the YCMHS community! What a great way to begin the school year! Thanks for your efforts!
