Dear Students, Parents and Community Members,

 

I am honoured to finish the year as acting principal for YCMHS.  I graduated from this high school 25 years ago, and I am looking forward to being able to give back to the school that gave me so much! 

 

Mr. Randell has moved on to a new role in senior administration as the Coordinator of Curriculum 7-12 at the Board level, and he is very happy to have been given this opportunity.  At the same time, his feelings are mixed, because he is leaving our school before he had anticipated.  The best laid plans don't always unfold as we would expect, and sometimes life takes us in a different direction.  We do wish him well in his new professional endeavour and we know that we will see him in the hallways of our school in his official capacity for the TCRSB.

 

Once again, I am looking forward to the remainder of the school year, to the hard work in the months ahead, to graduation and to doing my best to meet the needs of students, staff and the community of YCMHS!
