To help parents deal with attendance for their child, we have started a new initiative to email concerned parents weekly attendance reports (in PDF format).  We started this a few last year by offering weekly emails to parents that noticed their child was missing too much time and wanted to get good reports on what classes they were missing.  We have found that almost all parents that are now receiving these weekly emails have children with great attendance improvements. Many parents request this now even if their child does not miss time because it is a great communication tool with the school.

These reports are sent each week (at the end of the week) and allows for follow up by an administrator on how to proceed.  Any parent that is noticing their child is missing time or just wants to stay informed may ask to be added to this new initiative.  To get added to our weekly email attendance list, please send an email to dlesser@tcrsb.ca with your name (parent/guardian), students name and grade and your phone number (so we can confirm your identity).
